full detail on a Nissan Murano

This vehicle belongs to a regular customer of mine. It has about 46,000 miles on the dial but you would never know it! The owner takes extremely good care of it. The interior is very spacious and the tan leather seats are awesome. Overall, the vehicle is in fantastic condition so the owner decided to go with an interior and exterior package to welcome Spring.

The wheels were slightly soiled with dirt and tar. They were cleansed with a wheel gel then sealed with a quick detailer spray.

Here is a picture of a wheel well. Your tires kick up so much dirt up here.

This is a picture of the hood. As you can see, the paint looks rather dull. Spring time can be tough on a car! Also, since I waxed this car last summer, I used a special shampoo to strip off any remaining wax so the new wax had a complete clean surface to bond to.

I'm sure the majority of people forget to clean the inside of here. It is extremely important to do so. Dirt sticks to gas very easily and can build up fast.

We have an intelligent New Englander here! Using rubber mats during the winter protects the carpets underneath and it also makes my job easier! Still, the carpets received a full shampoo.

The Murano had two massive sunroofs. It's pretty close to having a convertible!

Wheels were cleaned and tires were dressed.

Wheel wells were also cleaned up.

The exterior paint was washed, sealed, and waxed. Much better!

It will be a pleasure to pump gas for the next couple weeks.

See ya next winter rubber mats. Time to show off some carpet!

The sunroof and the rest of the glass was all cleaned up. The stars will look awesome tonight!

full detail on a Honda Accord

I cannot believe the advances Honda has made over the years. This 2009 Honda Accord drives and looks like a high end luxury car! The owner of this vehicle is a former co-worker of mine and she was a little hesitant on getting a detail because she didn't know exactly what a professional detail included. Overall, she was extremely happy with how the Honda turned out!

First up was the exterior. Being in the middle of Spring, pollen and dirt were caked on the car. A nice shampoo would rid the paint of this mess and get it primed for a sealant and wax.

When is the last time you washed in here?

Or down here? Gemstone Detail doesn't miss a thing!

The Honda had metal trim around the side windows and also the front grille. As you can see, they were etched with oxidation and water spots.

After I washed and dried the car, I moved onto the interior. There was some neglect in here and some parts were showing wear even after one year.

The owner told me this was makeup. It was also all over the beautiful leather seats. Tisk, tisk.

~AFTER SHOTS~

The exterior was sealed with a special formula specifically designed for black paint. You may not see it in the pictures, but the black paint had beautiful pearl flakes in it. Another luxury move by Honda!

All metal trim was polished to remove the water spots and oxidation, and also give it a nice shine.

Exhaust tip was also cleaned up and polished.

The interior was cleaned up and then dressed with a formula with SPF 40. Yes, to protect the interior from the sun.

full detail and paint correction on a Ford Mustang

The owner of this vehicle has maintained it quite well. From a far, the black paint looked to be in mint condition. However, the paint was covered in swirl marks, and black paint tends to show them off more than any color car. So, the owner decided to go with a Supreme Detail, plus the best removal of swirl marks as possible.

As stated before, the owner takes great care of the vehicle and the interior proves just that. A nice vacuum, shampoo, and dressing will make it look brand new.

I found this wedged underneath the passenger's seat. Another dissatisfied HMA customer. Whatever your doing wrong HMA, keep it up!

Here is an example of the severity of the swirl marks. Halogen bulbs are the next best swirl seeker next to the sun.

I tested several different polishes before coming up with what I was going to use on the entire car. Here, I have the right side polished while the left remains untreated.

This is during the polish stage. Polish dust gets everywhere so it is vital to tape any small openings on the vehicle.

~AFTER SHOTS~

Interior work complete.

EVERY little mark or scratch will show up on black paint. Some scratches and marks were too deep to remove but overall, a major improvement. Black is beautiful!
